About Me

Hi, I’m Swati. Complex work rarely begins with a clear path, and helping people find one is the part I enjoy most.

I’m a program leader who works across people, priorities, and systems to help complex initiatives move forward. My approach is practical: ask good questions, create enough structure, and stay open to adjusting as the work unfolds.

I live in the Los Angeles area, and life outside work is full in a good way. I’m a busy mom, enjoy exploring new places and cooking, and spend plenty of time with Bela, my dog. I’m also a certified yoga instructor, which helps me stay grounded when life moves quickly.

More recently, I’ve been exploring AI through hands on product building. This portfolio is where I share what I create and learn along the way.

What I’m building

FamilyOS

FamilyOS began with a question: could the invisible work of managing family life become a shared experience that brings clarity, encourages participation, and makes everyday responsibilities easier to navigate?

Building it gave me a practical way to explore AI assisted product development. I had to move between product questions and implementation details, deciding what belonged in the first version, where the boundaries needed to be, and what it would take to make the experience actually work.

AI in practice

Most conversations about AI focus on what the tools can do. I’m more interested in what it takes to use them well: how the prompt changes the outcome, how different tools shape the work, and whether AI can help us learn as effectively as it helps us produce.

A useful prompt library is more than a collection of instructions. I’ll share how I organized prompts around real work, what made them easier to reuse, and what I learned about helping people move from occasional experimentation to more intentional use.

The tool changes the work

Claude, Copilot, ChatGPT, Codex, and Emergent may appear to offer similar capabilities, but the experience of working with each is different. I’ll compare where they helped, where they created friction, and how the nature of the task influenced which tool worked best.

Can AI teach AI?

I used an AI tool to help me learn machine learning and artificial intelligence, beginning with a prompt that defined what I knew, what I hoped to understand, and how I wanted to learn. I’ll share what made the experience effective, where human judgment still mattered, and what it taught me about AI as a learning partner.
